Libor Němec Appointed As a Member of the Supervisory Committee of the Public Audit Oversight

With effect from October 1, 2024, Libor Němec, a partner of our law firm, has been appointed as a member of the Supervisory Committee of the Public Audit Oversight Board.

The Public Audit Oversight Board is a public authority responsible for overseeing the performance of auditing activities, carrying out tasks assigned to it by the Act on Auditors and other relevant legislation. The Board is also the competent authority according to EU Regulation on specific requirements regarding statutory audit of public-interest entities,

The Supervisory Committee organizes and manages quality inspections for auditors auditing at least one public-interest entity and performs other tasks in accordance with the Act on Auditors.
